After the first leg of this Coppa Italia semi-final nobody manage to take advantage after the 1-1 draw. The bookies give slight advantage to Inter with odds around 2.00. Both clubs are currently doing rather mixed. Inter saw their lead over Napoli shrunk this weekend, losing 0-1 to Bologna. Competing in three competitions at once seems to come at cost. Still, there's no time to breathe. Now comes the second leg of the Coppa Italia semifinal against all time rivals AC Milan. The first leg ended 1-1, so everything is still up for grabs. Inzaghi must get his team back on track. Only two wins in their last six competitive matches speak volumes. What's particularly bitter is that things haven't been going well in the derby recently either. Inter have failed to beat Milan four times in a row as the last time that happened was 20 years ago. Milan is also under pressure. On Sunday, they lost 0-1 to Atalanta their fifth defeat in their last ten matches. They're six points behind the European places in the league, so the cup now presents a great opportunity. However, they haven't won it since 2003, so it would be doubly important to achieve something here. |
